sunday afternoon

hello friends.  having a relaxing but productive sunday afternoon.  school starts tomorrow, so i'm trying to just take it nice and easy today.  because... i know that once tomorrow comes i'll once again be a very busy girl.  business is good as well, so in addition to school this spring, i'll also be very busy with the operations of our business.  i even have an opportunity to do some sketches and designing for a project we are part of - the building of a duplex which will be sold as two units.  actually, i would say this is really a condo of sorts, but the structure itself is a duplex.  i'll share more on this little project as it develops.

i'm taking three classes this semester - advanced quick sketch, sustainable design, and a class called interior architecture and design B.  the reading materials shown below are for the sustainable design class.  lots of reading, research and writing for this class.  advanced quick sketch is a course to teach designers how to quickly sketch out their ideas, but done so in a fashion that is professional and with some detail.  it should prove interesting.  the remaining class (iad-b) is a project class for a residential remodel.  you are given a "client" project and take it from initial interview through final plans.  this one will be labor and time intensive, but i'm very much looking forward to it.

hope all of you had a great sunday afternoon too.

Yay! School is starting back up - how exciting! I hope this quarter goes well for you and that you are able to tackle everything without getting too bogged down or stressed out.

By the way, your sketching class sounds wonderful. I wish we had a class like that - I'd totally take it!
