if you've been visiting my blog for any length of time, you are sure to know that i love flowers.  i find them an endless stream of inspiration for both my own works of art, and for interior designs.  you also know that i have an insane magazine habit, with a large portion of that habit being in the area of shelter (design) magazines.  when i'm looking through the pages, admiring the talents of others, i also study the art that is in a room.  if something interests me, i check out the source and then do a search for that artist on the internet to view more of their work.  so is the case with artist sally scaffardi of the uk.  i found her through the image below which is from the december issue of livingetc magazine. 

instantly i knew i had to see more of this artist's work.  i'm so taken with her work that i'm trying to figure out if i can afford to purchase a piece for our home.  she has an enormous amount of work available on her website and offers her work in several different formats (prints, on canvas, plexi).  if you love flowers and color as much as i do, please visit her website.  i've included one image here as a teaser in hopes of making you want to see more. be sure to visit the "about the artist" page to read about her technique.
